ISOSCELES KREW is approached by Erin Toberman, community activist and leader of the Galveston Kindness Project - an initiative to spread good will and thwart bullying through beautification, public enrichment, and youth activities. Erin pursues every possible opportunity to spread kindness and is very passionate about her mission. She commissions a bench that is meant to foster interactions with strangers and that would be installed in a public place for all to enjoy.

Erin passed away in 2020, but her enthusiastic and unyielding message of love and consideration survives. The bench will remain on view in the ISO KREW collection, ever reminding us “It’s cool to be kind.”
