ARLINGTON STREET MURALS

Kent and Karen

-Two of ISOSCELES KREW’s most loyal patrons. They have hired 4 murals at their home in Houston’s Heights neighborhood. The murals are in and around their garden and front foot path and are a favorite sight among their neighbors.

2016-2020, Victor “SEIYGE ZELLEZ” Blanchard

Aerosol and various primers on concrete

Version 4 - 2021

Arguably the most SEIYGE ZELLEZ of them all, v4 shows the progression of the artist and the adventuresome nature of the clients. In the initial draft there is more plant content which was scrapped in lieu of a highly abstract option.

Version 3 - 2019

An obvious deviation from the previous two, V3 features a top down view of succulent plants in pots and a red brick road to replace the yellow one on the foot path.

Version 2 - 2018

V2 perpetuates the garden-related content but increases the size of these features so that each element covers more space. This was the first time the clients asked for their footpath to also be painted, which was done up with bright Yellow Brick Road.

Version 1 - 2016

The consultation rendered a design and palette that was an homage to the garden surrounding the mural. The flowers that were growing there were taken in to consideration when choosing colors.
